Gunns Camp

Overlooking the legendary Chief’s Island and bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, Gunn’s Camp is one of the last few remaining luxury, vintage safari camps. Set under leafy palms and African Ebony to blend naturally with its unique surroundings, Gunn’s Camp achieves a fine balance of comfort whilst embracing the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

Accommodation at Gunn's Camp consists of 6 fully furnished, deluxe Kenya-style Meru tents with en-suite bathrooms with standalone baths and outside private showers. The tents are set on raised platforms overlooking the Delta plains. The tents are connected to the main camp with swimming pool via a raised wooden walkway crossing the wetlands and lit by lanterns.

Getting there

Ntswi Airtrip (servicing both Moremi Crossing & Gunn’s Camp) is a 20 minutes' flight from Maun or 90 minutes from Kasane. It takes a 10-15 minute boat ride from the airstrip to Gunn’s Camp jetty. For those who fear boats, an alternative (depending on water levels) would be a transfer by tractor.

Single supplement $170 ONLY in dry season. No single supplement if booking 3 nights or more.

Wilderness camping out of Gunn’s Camp & Moremi Crossing USD 370 pppn which includes: dome tents, all the camping equipment, meals, beverages, park fees.
