Nxamaseri Lodge

A small, exclusive lodge, situated on an island in the permanent waters of the Okavango Pan Handle. The lodge has seven double en-suite chalets, each secluded in indigenous forest and each with a private deck overlooking the water. Teak walkways link the chalets to the lodge main area (with charming tree house), providing an opportunity to observe the remarkable birdlife that inhabits the tree canopy above.

The lodge is designed to show off the area's beautiful scenery. It is excellent for birding and is the ideal fly-fishing destination.

Getting there

Nxamaseri Lodge is located along the A35, 40 kms South of Shakawe and 320 kms from Maun. Transfers (by boat) from the roadside and from Nxamaseri airstrip are included in the rates.

INCLUDED: All meals, non-alcoholic beverages, private boat/Mokoro for standard activities, use of fishing tackle if requested, transfer from main road or Nxamaseri airstrip to Nxamaseri Island Lodge, vat, tourism levy, Travel For Impact charity contribution.

EXCLUDED: Alcoholic beverages, air transfers or road transfers other than mentioned above, special activities.
