Bushman Plains Camp
Bushman Plains Camp was Botswana’s first Bushman-owned safari camp in the heart of the Okavango Delta. These masters of the bush will share with you their phenomenal tracking skills, either on foot or on game drives in the 370,000 acre wilderness area.
Bushman Plains is blessed with permanent water channels, allowing year-round exploration of the Okavango by mokoro (dugout canoe).
The camp is very intimate with just four Meru-style tents in the shade of towering trees with wonderful views of open flood plains. There are flush toilets, bucket showers, running water sinks, and pedestal fans running on solar energy.
The central area of the camp includes a mess tent with veranda, and of course the campfire area where ancient Bushman stories are told and music and dancing can be enjoyed.
Getting there
Bushman Plains is accessible via air transfers. Flights can be booked from Maun and Kasane to Kadizora Airstrip, and are followed by a 90 minute game drive to the camp.
