Guma Lagoon Camp
Guma Lagoon Camp is situated along the banks of the Guma Lagoon in the Okavango Pan Handle (North Western side of the Okavango Delta). Accommodation is provided in canvas chalets, all en suite and with a small veranda overlooking the lagoon.
The central area has a large dining area with bar, and a large deck with comfortable sofas and a lower deck which is ideal for fishing. The meals are excellent (our last visit was in December 2017) and the service friendly.
Guma Lagoon Camp is truly a fisherman's paradise and bird watchers' haven.
Getting there
Guma Lagoon Camp is 280 km from Maun on the Sehitwa / Shakawe road. From Maun drive 101 km towards Ghanzi and turn right at Sehitwa towards Shakawe. Drive past Etsha 6 and then turn into Etsha 13 and follow the signs to Guma Lagoon Camp.
The drive from the tar road to the camp is approx. 45 minutes and requires 4WD. Transfers from the tar road are possible at P200 one way.
