Jack’s Camp is an oasis of old-world safari style and comfort in the middle of Botswana’s Kalahari Desert, at the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans, surrounded by spectacular scenery and unique desert species.
Accommodation is in 7 twin and 3 double tents, decorated in a sophisticated 1940’s atmosphere, with en-suite bathrooms featuring indoor and outdoor showers.
The central mess tent has a natural history museum, a library, an antique pool table and a well-stocked drinks chest. The swimming pool is shaded by a pavilion-style tent. Teas in the tea tent are indulgent affairs with treats like triple layer, banana caramel cake, tangy lemon curd biscuits and allegedly the best brownies in the bush!
