Leopard Plains Lodge

Leopard Plains is a private game reserve embedded between the Makgadikgadi Pans and Nxai Pan National Parks.

The lodge is in a bushveld area and has 10 tented rooms, a swimming pool, restaurant, library and bar. It is advised to pre-order meals - breakfast is included in the rates.

In addition to game viewing on the private reserve, excursions into the adjacent Makgadikgadi Pans and Nxai Pan as well as canoe trips on the Boteti River can be done.

Getting there

Leopard Plains is 80 km East from Maun on the A3 direction Nata/Francistown. Coming from Maun:, you will see the sign ca. 8 km past Motopi on the left-hand side.

Coming from Nata, the lodge is before the veterinary checkpoint on the right-hand side.

Transfers from/to Maun are offered at USD50 pp.

You can also fly in – the airstrip is 1 kilometre from the lodge.
