San Camp
San Camp is situated on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, the remnant of an extinct lake that once covered most of Botswana.
Seven classic white tents stand majestically on the shore of an enormous sparkling salt pan, each tent sheltered by a cluster of desert palms and with its en-suite bathroom.
The central mess tent contains a small natural history museum and library. Tea can be served in the sheltered tea tent spread with cushions. There is also a tented yoga pavilion.
San Camp is erected and taken down each year and there is no swimming pool.
